Cancellations
You can make cancellations at any time. Please keep in mind that the deposit is non-refundable and you will be billed for work incurred to date.

Additional Work During Project
During the event that there will be additional requests after the project has begun, extra fees other than the price originally quoted will apply. Customer will be notified at the time of request of the additional fees.

Minimum Budget for Small Projects
While we will provide service to existing clients by updating previous projects, i.e., updating addresses, names on business cards, we can not begin any new design projects under a budget of $300.

Images & Stock Photos
You have the option to provide your own images. We work with our own gallery of stock images, fees may apply in specific cases. You will be advised of these fees after consultation of your project.

Abandoned Projects
A project is considered abandoned when a client does not get back to us after four (4) consecutive weeks. If the balance of your invoice has not been paid, and we are contacted after the 1 month for the files or website launch, an interest fee of $100.00 will apply before the files are given to you or your website is launched.

Our Portfolio and Website Credit
We reserve the right to add completed projects to our portfolio. If a full web design and development project was completed by our studio, in most cases a credit “site by QR Imaging Inc. | www.qrcreative.com” will be included at the bottom of your website. In certain cases, our website credit will not be posted due to privacy purposes. Please notify us if this is the case.

Copyright for Logo Design
Client will have the exclusive right to the logo design chosen upon payment. Any concepts that are not chosen and paid for will be a violation of QR Imaging Inc.’s rights if they are used elsewhere. QR Imaging Inc. does not file a trademark application with respect to the logos designed for its clients. The client is free to register as a trademark the logo design created for it by QR Imaging Inc.

In the event that payment for any logo design is not made in accordance with the payment policies of QR Imaging Inc., then all of client’s rights with respect to the logo design created for it, including any trademark property, will immediately revert back to QR Imaging Inc. QR Imaging Inc. warrants that its designs are of its own creation but does not warrant that a design the same as, or similar to, that designed by it, but of which it was not aware at the time of its creation, does not exist. If for some coincidental reason a logo designed for print/web designed by QR Imaging Inc. looks identical to another party’s design, QR Imaging Inc. will provide a free redraw session with a new set of concepts.

Revisions
Small revisions can be made after design concepts are presented. We allow TWO rounds of revisions. After that, however, we bill at $40 per additional round.

Content From You
We ask that ALL CONTENT is given at the initiation of the project. This not only helps firm up an accurate and well laid out design mockup, but it helps to speed up the process as well. We are not responsible for proof-reading your content, so please make sure there are no errors when sending it to us.

Offset Printers
We work with third-party printers that we trust and are affiliated with. In the rare case that there is a printing issue, we will work with the printers to get it resolved, but any costs incurred will not be at the expense of QR Imaging Inc.

Digital Printing
When you are approving design layouts or proofs on the computer monitor, you are only approving RGB colors. Computer screens can only reproduce RGB colors which simulate other color modes. We do our best to match RGB colors on our computer screen to CMYK or Pantone colors, but some colours are impossible to match precisely. Files converted to different color modes (CMYK, Pantone) may not match your approved RGB colors. Digital printing will occasionally vary from offset printing, especially when spot colours are involved. This is due to a wholly different type of ink, not necessarily to the calibration of the digital press. Therefore QR Imaging Inc. can not be responsible for the outcome of the printing quality and colors although we will make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the colours and quality.

Taxes
All work, excluding print shop items, are subject to a 13% HST fee. HST is Harmonized Sales Tax in Ontario, Canada and unfortunately, is not something we can avoid.

Contract with QR Imaging Inc.
By entering into a project with QR Imaging Inc., you are consenting to be bound by the terms of these policies. Links to our policies are posted on all our quotes and forms, as it is important to read them (and anybody else’s policies, as well) before beginning work.
